Role Overview
This is a dynamic and hands-on position, supporting the Chalet Manager and wider team in delivering an exceptional 5-star guest experience. The primary focus is on outstanding customer service, with the key aim of providing world-class hospitality and creating unforgettable moments for every guest.
As a Chalet Host, you will take responsibility for both front-of-house duties and housekeeping services. This is a highly rewarding role involving frequent interaction with both guests and team members. You will work a variety of shifts as part of a collaborative team, covering the full range of services outlined below.
Main Responsibilities
- Breakfast Service: Prepare the dining area, warmly welcome and seat guests, and take orders for hot food and beverages.
- Afternoon Tea: Present a light meal and beverages for guests to help themselves.
- Evening Service: Deliver a family-style dining experience, including paired wines.
- Housekeeping:
- Conduct a thorough weekly changeover clean of the entire property, including a midweek linen change.
- Provide daily housekeeping for all guest areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, ski room, living areas and the spa area.
- Ensure back-of-house and laundry areas are kept clean, well-organised, and efficient.
- Guest Communication: Proactively engage with guests to address queries and fulfil special requests promptly.
- Chalet Maintenance: Identify and report maintenance issues accurately and in a timely manner to the Chalet Manager.
- Health & Safety: Uphold hygiene and safety standards in accordance with company policies.
- Supplier Relations: Support and enhance relationships with local suppliers where appropriate.
- Driving Duties: Provide in-resort driving services for guests as required.
- Environmental Responsibility: Demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainability and actively support Consensio’s environmental initiatives.
